Specialized Therapy and Education

The Center for Grief provides specialized therapy and education in the areas of complicated grief, trauma,and life transition. Individual, couple and family therapy is offered to children, teens and adults who have experienced a significant loss due to death or other life experiences.

Therapy is provided by licensed psychologists, marriage and family therapists, social workers, professional counselors and graduate student interns. The Center Group program consists of Therapy Groups that address specific challenges of complicated grief.

The Center offers organizational transition services and a wide array of workshops and trainings on subjects that include:

  • Children and Grief
  • Grief Group Facilitator Training
  • Needs of People Living with Life-threatening Illness
  • Grief and Special Days
